HydroVac Driver

We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Hydrovac Driver to operate hydrovac equipment for non-destructive excavation projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely exposing underground utilities, maintaining equipment, and supporting crew operations while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and job site requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate hydrovac equipment to perform non-destructive excavation.
  • Locate and safely expose underground utilities such as gas lines, water pipes, and cables.
  • Transport and dispose of excavated materials in accordance with regulations.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks.
  • Maintain accurate logs, safety documentation, and job reports.
  • Communicate with crew members, site supervisors, and clients to coordinate tasks.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required (Class B ).
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and hazard awareness.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Capable of standing, walking, bending, and working in confined or uneven spaces.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure hoses and heavy-duty equipment safely.
